The Wedding Cheat Sheet

Ask Us Anything (About the Wedding)

1. What should I wear?

We want you to feel your best, so our dress code is somewhere between cocktail and formal. Whether you prefer a sleek suit, a chic cocktail dress, or a glamorous gown, we’d love to see you dressed in a way that feels most comfortable and confident.

Feel free to go all out with fancy attire if you'd like—this is a celebration! Please keep in mind that the ceremony and parts of the celebration will be outdoors, so wear comfortable shoes and consider bringing a light wrap or jacket for the evening.

2. Can I bring a plus-one?

We’re keeping our celebration intimate, so only those listed on the invitation are invited. Thank you for understanding!

3. Will there be kids activities?

Yes! There will be a play area outside for kids. We will also have a babysitting service that specialize in watching kids during weddings specifically at this venue. The take care of kids ages 0-10. They will also put your child to sleep if you decide you want to stay later then their bedtime.

 

​4. What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive at Château Tresserve by 4pm so we can begin the ceremony promptly at 4:30pm.

5. Will transportation be provided?

Transportation will be provides by a shuttle service at the end of the evening. More details regarding drop off to come.

6. Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty parking available at Château Tresserve.

7. What’s the weather like in May?

May in Tresserve typically has mild, sunny weather, with average temperatures ranging from 15°C to 22°C (59°F to 72°F). We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap, especially for the evening.

8. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony & vin d'honneur will be outdoors, with the reception to follow indoors.

9. What’s the unplugged ceremony?

To fully cherish this special moment, we kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain tucked away during the ceremony. Let’s be fully present together, and not see this moment through a screen.

Don’t worry—our amazing photographer will capturer every detail. We also have someone designated to take photos on the phone and will be uploaded after the ceremony to our group shared album. This will be shared with iPhone users before the wedding date.

10. What’s the best way to RSVP?

We kindly request your response by March 25th. Please RSVP the number of guests attending and share any dietary restrictions via email at geffroytrushinskiwedding@gmail.com or by text message. Please only RSVP for the people listed on the invitation envelope.

11. Do you have a wedding registry?

12. What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

13. Are there accommodations nearby?

Yes, please see the "Travel / Hotels" tab for more information 

14. What activities are there to do in the area?

There’s so much to explore in the region! You can explore Annecy’s old town, check out the thermal spas in Aix-les-Bains, hiking scenic trails, or boating on Lake Annecy, you’ll find plenty to enjoy. Check out the "Things to Do" tab for more ideas.
